Terms for using MarineRoster’s website, request forms and introduction service.

Using MarineRoster
By using this website or submitting information, you agree to use MarineRoster lawfully and provide information you reasonably believe is accurate. You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, submit another person’s private information without permission or attempt to access nonpublic systems or records.
Introductions, not marine service
MarineRoster helps review requests and make introductions. MarineRoster is not the marine-service provider and does not perform, supervise, direct, warrant or guarantee a provider’s work, pricing, schedule, availability or outcome.
Independent providers
Providers are independent businesses responsible for their own statements, qualifications, licensing, insurance, estimates, contracts, work and legal obligations. Before authorizing work, boat owners should independently confirm the proposed scope, provider qualifications, insurance, pricing, schedule, warranties and payment terms.
No guaranteed match
Submitting a request does not guarantee that MarineRoster will identify or introduce a provider. A requested provider may not be an appropriate fit or may not be available. You remain free to accept or decline any introduction.
Owner Voices and submitted content
You retain ownership of content you submit. When a form requests publication permission, the permission shown on that form governs MarineRoster’s use. You must have the right to submit any text or photograph and may not submit unlawful, misleading or privacy-invasive content.
Website information
MarineRoster works to keep public information useful and current, but website content may be incomplete or change. Guides provide general educational information and are not a substitute for inspection or advice from a qualified marine professional.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may update these terms as the service changes; the effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use.
